Calvin Flood Obituary

Calvin met Linda Griffin at church while living in Borger in 1969. They married on June 12, 1970. They celebrated 55 years of marriage earlier this year.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Opaline Flood.
Calvin is survived by his wife, Linda of Borger; his two sons Jim Bob Flood and wife Dayna of Fritch; and Brian Flood and wife Kendra of Canyon, Tx. There are 5 grandkids and 4 great grandkids. His brother Ken Pilcher and special friend, Mary.
He loved fishing, camping, and woodworking. Most of the family has one of those famous birdhouses he made. What he loved the most was his grandkids and great grandkids. They always brought a smile to their "Poppy's" face. He also loved their dog Sadie, even though he wanted all of us to believe he didn't like that darn dog.

I worked with Calvin many years. A great guy, did his job well and didn´t make waves. Hadn´t seen him in years but still have fond memories.
