Calvin Hatcher, age 90, of Pelham, Alabama passed away on August 19, 2025. Calvin was born on April 27, 1935 to Howard and Pruddie Hatcher.
He grew up in Montevallo and moved to Pelham in the early 70’s when he married his wife, Shirley. Calvin worked over 40 years in the auto industry as a Service Manager for several car dealerships. His hobbies were hunting and playing country music. He was a talented musician, playing the fiddle and guitar. He played and sang in a country music band for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hatcher; his daughter, Debbie Christine; his stepdaughter, Kay Cooper (Tim); and numerous grandchildren, great grand children, nieces and nephews.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Pauline Lucas (Felton) and his brother, Wesley Hatcher (Margie).
Services will be held , August 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove #1 with Rev. Kenny Hatcher officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist #1 Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
