Jack Orbia Hatcher, 86, Wildwood, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 17, 2025 with his loving family at his bedside. Jack was born on December 21, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia to his parents Orbia Orlando Hatcher and Katherine Inez Hatcher. Jack was a Lifelong resident of Wildwood, Florida. He was a former member of First Baptist Church of Wildwood, Florida. Jack was the Owner of Wildwood Tire in Wildwood, Florida. He was an entrepreneur of many businesses and helped many individuals with his knowledge and wisdom. Jack was a member of Masonic Lodge #92 F.&A.M in Wildwood for 60 years and was the Past Worshipful Master. He was also a Shriner and was very proud of his membership in both the Masonic Lodge and Shrine Club. Jack loved to go fishing, boating and taking day trips with his late wife Vermel. Jack is survived by his loving children: Jack O. Hatcher, Jr and his wife Mary of Wildwood, FL, Lisa Hatcher Corrales and her husband Frank of Knoxville, TN and Mathew B. Hatcher and his wife Amy of Wildwood, FL; grandchildren: Lacy Macready and her husband John, Lindsey Griffin and her husband Jody, Laney Eiland and her husband Travis, Whitt McConnell, Lexi Devore and her husband Michael, Orbia Hatcher, Sarah Yates and her husband Garrett, Jessica Hatcher, Owen Hatcher and his wife Emma, Brice Hatcher and his wife Brianne, Ryan Hatcher, Ethan Hatcher, Lile DeCroix, Ty Attridge and Chelsea Dickson; sixteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 62 years, Gloria Vermel Hatcher. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 10:00AM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Wildwood, Florida. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice in care of Lane Purcell Hospice House in Jack's loving memory.
