Memorial Services for Calvin Kraft, 59, of Isabel will be at 1:00 pm (MT), Monday, October 13, 2025, at New Hope Church in Timber Lake.

Calvin Richard Kraft was born on June 29, 1966, and passed away on October 7, 2025. Calvin was born in Mobridge, S.D. He grew up with two older brothers, Casey and Clay. He lived in Mobridge in his younger years. His family moved to California for a few years. They then decided to move back to South Dakota, where they settled in Timber Lake, S.D. He attended school and graduated from Timber Lake. He enlisted in the Army for two years. After serving his country he came back to Mobridge, S.D.

He married Mary Baer on February 15, 2003. They resided in Mobridge until they moved to Isabel, SD. Calvin was a Carpenter by trade. He helped and raised many other kids as his own. His passion in life was hunting, fishing, love of animals, and being in the mountains.

Calvin is survived by his wife Mary, his mother Maryann, father Fred, his brother Casey, his son Chapin (Lexi), and two granddaughters, Nova and Amora, grandson Reese, his godson Hunter Smith, niece Tonia Yuker (Billy), nephew Dustin Kraft, two great nieces , Bella, Gracie Yuker, his aunt Judy, his longtime friend Harley "Gunny" Gunville, and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son Ty, brother Clay, grandparents, longtime friend Farrel Smith and his favorite dog Zip!

Calvin was a man who would help anyone in need. He will be missed by us all. God bless you, Calvin.
