Calvin V. Wright, 89, of Lancaster, passed away on July 16, 2022 at the Pickering House. He was born to the late Jennison and Flossie Wright in Fairfield County, OH on July 14, 1933.
Calvin was a proud US Army Veteran, and attended New Life Apostolic Church in Glenford, OH. While working for Consolidated Freight, he was a member of the Teamsters Union. Calvin loved his family and spending time studying the Word of God. He was a preacher of Truth and loved his time behind the pulpit. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys R. Wright; children, Michael (Phyllis) Wright, Timothy (Ronda) Wright, Tammy Wright (Daughter in law), John (Kathy) Wright, Phillip (Nikita) Wright, and Rebekah (Dwight) Roberts; step-daughter, Debra (Kenneth) Brofford; eleven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Betty M. Wright; son; Kenny Wright, six brothers, three sisters; and parents.
A funeral service officiated by Pastor Gary Keller and Pastor Dan Hill will take place at 2 PM, Monday, July 25, 2022 at New Life Christian Center, 2642 Columbus- Lancaster Road Northwest, Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Union Evangelical
Cemetery, Baltimore. Family and friends may visit one hour prior at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FairHope Hospice Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130.
