Cameron Troy Black, 14, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 22, 2025. He enjoyed life! Though he only lived 14 years he put a lot of life into those years. Cameron had an infectious smile and was always happy!
He is survived by his mother, Anna Brumley; grandmother, Martha Coy; aunts, Deloris Hammel and Darlene Mills; uncle, Edmund Brumley; cousins, Tyler, Stefanie, Lexi, Gavin, Isabella, Willow, Erika, Delaney, Leia, Zander, Finnian, Anessa, Jessica, James, Kaylee and Kourtney.
He is preceded in death by his father, Troy Young Black, Jr.; siblings, Michael, Jamie, and Erika Black; grandparents, Troy Young Black, Sr. and Glenda Black, and Edmund Brumley, Sr.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cameron's life at a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, August 28th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel located at 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243.
The family wishes to thank many doctors and staff of Children's Hospital in Cincinnati for the excellent care they provided for Cameron over the years, as well as the Therapy Team at Kids Center in Louisville, and the many nurses that were in and out of his life.
