Camille Barone Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 12, 2024.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Camille Barone, 90, on December 10, 2024. Camile was married to the love of her life, Modesto "Chic" Barone for almost 70 years and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and carer of her beloved dog "Cookie". Born and raised in New Rochelle Camille was well known with a wide group of friends and acquaintances. She enjoyed going out, talking with everyone and making friends wherever she went. She was always the first to include strangers in any conversation, adding them to her circle of friends. Camille was a strong, and determined woman, funny, outgoing and spirited and always made people around her laugh. Not afraid of anyone or anything, she was known for lack of patience and colorful opinions - not holding back and telling it like it is. Camille is survived by her husband, Chic Barone, daughters Marie Dolan, Debra Di Buono, and Theresa Barone, five grandchildren and spouses, four great grandchildren, sister, nieces and nephews and many friends. A private family celebration of her life will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Camille can be made to the Humane Society of Westchester. Camille will continue to stay with us through the laughs and memories she gave us and her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
