Camille Buchanan

Camille Buchanan departed this life at his residence on Tuesday evening, June 19, 2023, at the age of 68. Born on November 4, 1954, to Louis and Eloise Buchanan in New Orleans, Louisiana. Camille was raised in the uptown part of New Orleans. He was a very warm and giving person; he was very affectionate and very helpful. If you needed hi, he was there always displaying his kindness. He loved painting and washing cars and just being an all around nice guy. He was compassionate about any of his involvements. Camille is preceded in death by his father and mother, Louis Sr. and Eloise Buchanan. Camille is survived by seven brothers: Louis Jr., Lloyd, Lynn, Lionel, Sterling, Joseph, and Edward Buchanan; four sisters: Yvette Hill, Yvonne Buchanan, Carol Buchanan, and Deborah Strader, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at D. W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Avenue, New Orleans, LA at 10:00am. Visitation will begin at 9:00am. Interment: Mt.
