Camille Slawter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Skinner Funeral Home - Turtle Lake on Sep. 22, 2022.
Camille Sue Slawter, 59, of Turtle Lake was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, while surrounded by her loving family on September 21, 2022. She was born March 16, 1963, in Cumberland, WI to John and Marie (Peterson) Terry. She was raised in Turtle Lake where she graduated from Turtle Lake High School.
Camille was a selfless, caring, and loving woman. She loved her family more than anything; they never doubted that they were cherished. She could always be found supporting her grandkids at their various sport events. Even if that meant going to Texas to watch baseball games. If she was not yelling in the stands, she could be found in the kitchen baking something delicious.
Camille loved the many opportunities she had to travel. Among her favorites were Germany, Ireland, and Paris.
She is survived by her children: Jamie (Chris) Miles, Nicole Slawter, Chris (Michon) Slawter, and Joleen (Joe) Slawter, adopted daughter, Kylie Shulz; grandchildren: Hunter, Maddie, Dalton, Wyatt, Mya, Hope, and many adopted grandchildren; sister, Sylvia (Tom) Carter; brother, Troy (Faye) Terry; nephews: Kyle (Sylvia), and Devin (Alana); nieces: Gretchen (Tim), Shannon (Arlo), and Jenece; several great nieces and nephews; and other dear family and friends.
Camille was preceded in death by her father, John Terry; mother, Marie Terry; brother, Todd Terry; two nephews: Nathan and Randy Leslie.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the Turtle Lake Park.
Skinner Funeral Home of Turtle Lake is serving the family.
