Candace Larner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Robarts Family Funeral Home - Wauchula Chapel on Mar. 17, 2022.
Candace Carol Larner, 57, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 15, 2022. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on March 25, 1964, in Avon Park, Florida.
Candi was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Carolyn Hutto.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Larner; daughter, Kara Lucas (Christopher); son, Jay Keen (Mandy), sister, Joy Roberts (Robert); grandchildren, T.J., Landon and Parker Lucas, Kelcey and Collin Keen; nephews, Dylan Roberts (Sarah), Cade Roberts (Gabby); great-nieces, Gracelynn and Emery Roberts; aunt, Brenda Pelton (Larry) and many lifelong friends.
Candi lived her younger years in Ft. Myers, Florida. She enjoyed going roller skating, cheering for the Tice Tigers Pop Warner Football team, but most of all spending time on the family boat, going to Sanibel Island and laying in the sun.
She moved back to Hardee County in 1977. Candi graduated from Hardee High School in 1981. She married Mark Larner on December 31, 1999.
Candi was extremely family-oriented and loved her family passionately.
Her children and grandchildren were her whole world. She didn't miss a pageant, ballgame, animal show, or birthday.
She had many occupations over the years, but her passion was animals, especially dogs. She is remembered for her amazing ability to raise and care for many different breeds of dogs. She worked for All Creatures Animal Hospital for more than 15 years. She was well known in the county to be available day or night to take care or give advice on animal care.
She loved cooking, gardening, and crafting. You could come to visit almost any day and find her making something from woodwork to t-shirts to flags, cups, etc. She had endless ideas for creating crafts.
Candi spent her last few years caring for her mother and battling her own illnesses. She showed extreme strength and determination to get better for her family. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Please join us in celebrating the life of this amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
