Candace Katheryn Rush

Candace K. Rush, 42, was born on April 17, 1983, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025. She was a devoted daughter, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother whose warmth and strength touched everyone she met.
Candace was the cherished daughter of Suzanne Dunson and William Rush, and stepdaughter to Daniel Dunson. She was a guiding light to her children, Myah Rush, Broderick Rush, Brayden Rush, Ariana Rush, and Brandy Rush, who carry forward her legacy of resilience and love. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Luna, Brayden, Jr., Kayloni, and Londyn, each of whom brought her immeasurable happiness.
She is also survived by her beloved siblings, Brittani Culpepper of Smiths Station, Alabama, and Jeffery Culpepper Jr. of Ellaville, Ga: Ashley Partridge and Kasey Hare, both of Pell City, Alabama. Candace leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who will miss her laughter, her wisdom, and her unwavering support.
Candace's journey was marked by determination, creativity, and faith. She began her career as a manager at T-Mobile, where she built strong relationships and honed her professional skills. Never one to settle, she pursued her CDL license and went on to fulfill a long-held dream: founding her own dispatching company, Flightline Dispatching LLC. Her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to growth inspired everyone around her.
Outside of work, Candace found joy in simple and soulful things-riding horses, playing golf, and expressing herself through drawing. Her deep Christian faith guided her life and gave her strength through every season.
Candace will be remembered for her fierce love, her creative spirit and her ability to turn dreams into reality. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Words of Wisdom Christian Center, located at 420 38th Street, Columbus, Ga 31904. Friends and family are invited to gather in celebration of her life and legacy.
