Obituary published on Legacy.com by Toale Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory - Colonial Chapel - Sarasota on Mar. 8, 2026.
Mary Pritchett Webb, of Bradenton, passed away on March 2, 2026.

She was born on July 28, 1932, to Edward C. and Ruth Cummings Pritchett in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon graduating Grady High School in Atlanta, she attended Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. While in college, she met Edsel Philip (Flip) Webb, who was attending Georgia Tech. Upon graduation, they married in June of 1954 and lived in: Manchester, Georgia; Akron, Ohio; Magnolia, Arkansas; Woodstock, Georgia; and they moved to Bradenton, Florida in 2001.

Her family meant everything to her, and her surviving family members are her daughters Phyllis Ann Webb and Rebecca Harlow, her son Jeffrey Webb, and her granddaughter Tiffany Campbell; step-great grandchildren Justin Cole, Jadon Sparer, Madalyn and Chelsea Phillips; she is also survived by one brother Edward Pritchett, Jr. (Carolyn), nephews Kenneth Pritchett (Jenny) and Gregory Pritchett, and great nephews Nate Pritchett and Harrison Pritchett.

Throughout the years, Mrs. Webb was active in many organizations: National Music Teachers Association; National Federation of Music Clubs (serving as president of the Magnolia Music Club, and most recently the local Sarasota Music Club); American Guild of Organists, Presbyterian Association of Musicians, and Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity. She taught piano and organ for many years and served as church organist in all of the cities in which she lived. She was an elder and deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Sarasota, and she was also active in the Presbyterian Women's association. In 2003, Mary was presented with a special award from the Florida Federation of Music Clubs naming her Member of the Year.

A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Sarasota on March 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the music program at the church, or to Agnes Scott College.
