Candice Marie Blankenship Hudson passed away, unexpectedly, on June 30, 2024, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on October 16, 1980, a daughter of William "Billy" Blankenship (Deborah) and the late Patricia Snow Chryssikos.
Candice attended both Brookville and Rustburg High Schools. Candice was employed by Startek and later in life the Quik E gas station in Amherst. In her free time. Candice loved going to the movies, eating at Texas Roadhouse, and traveling to the beach. She could most of the time be seen with a Dr. Pepper in hand watching NASCAR.
In addition to her mother, Candice was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hudson, Jr.
In addition to her father, she is survived by one daughter, Zoie McKenzie Hudson; one son, Frank Lewis Hudson III; one brother, John Patrick Chryssikos; and numerous other family members.
A memorial service will be held on Friday. July 5, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg with Pastor Mack Almond officiating.
The family is receiving people at the residence of her father, Billy, at 7570 Bear Creek Road, Gladys, VA 24554 all other times.
