Candy Roscoe Obituary
Candy received her master's degree from the University of Evansville and also earned a Rank 1 Education Degree which is the highest level of teacher certification in the state of Kentucky. She was a dedicated educator and touched the lives of many students throughout the years having taught at Reitz Memorial High School in Indiana and Muhlenberg High School in Kentucky. Candy also taught English as a second language at the University of Evansville, as well as English in the General Education Development program at the Green River Correctional Facility. She founded the theatrical programs at Memorial, Muhlenberg and North High Schools. Candy was also a founding member of the Muhlenberg Arts Council.
Candy is survived by her husband, Phillip Roscoe; sons, Michael (Shelby) Roscoe and Peter (Maggie) Arabia; grandchildren, Mahayla (Cade) Jones, Rachel Roscoe, Kolbe (Bre) Roscoe, Abby Roscoe, Emily Arabia and Samuel Arabia; brothers, John (Vicki) Hunt and Robert I. Hunt; sister, Kathy Hunt (Jackie Williams); and several cousins.
Candy was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. A Memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Evansville Rescue Mission, 1101 Washington Square, Evansville, IN 47715.

For 4 BLESSED years Candy showed the love of Christ to kate, our daughter, and me--at Memorial High school. Neither of us would have felt welcome & nurtured had it not been for Candy. We would have done anything for that precious woman....When she left Eville--she simply continued all the kindnessin other places. LORD, thank You for her presence in our lives...Beth Storms
