Donna Claybrooks Obituary
Donna was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 9, 1958, to the late Bernard and Betty (Kinkade) Betz. She was a 1976 graduate of North High School and devoted her career to healthcare administration, spending half of it at Evansville Cancer Center and the other half at the Deaconess Surgical Center, from which she retired in 2019. She and her husband loved riding their Harley Davidson and took many trips all over the United States. Together they were a member of the Riverbend. She enjoyed Sunday Funday, spending it with family and games of cornhole. Donna will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Donna is survived by her husband of 38 years, James Claybrooks of Evansville, IN; son, Aaron Claybrooks (April Stewart-Fryman) of Evansville, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Debra Powell; favorite dog in 2025, Tanner and granddog, Gunner.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 9:00 am until service time on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Browning Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vanderburgh Humane Society, PO Box 67711, Evansville, IN 47719-6711.

I'm shocked and sad to see this. James and Aaron, we are so very sorry. Donna had one of the prettiest smiles ever and was fun to talk with. I always appreciated her honesty and ability to just be herself. -That's quite a loss. We wish you comfort now and in the days ahead.
