Cara Elizabeth Gaw

Cara Elizabeth Gaw, age 49, of Gentry, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on November 10, 1975, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to Leonard Carl McCratic and Marilyn Marie Carr McCratic. On May 27, 2000, Cara married the love of her life, Rob Gaw, in Siloam Springs. Cara was known for her warm heart, adventurous spirit, and love for life. She was a collector who enjoyed antiquing, watching sports, and spending time outdoors working on the farm with her chickens. A dedicated substitute teacher, she found joy in working with students and serving her community. Above all, Cara cherished her family. She was deeply devoted and protective of those she loved. Her kindness and love will be remembered and missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Carl McCratic.
She is survived by her husband, Rob Gaw of Gentry, Arkansas; two sons, Garan Lane Gaw, and Aaron Robert Gaw, both of Gentry, Arkansas; her mother, Marilyn Marie McCratic of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; three sisters, Cheri Michael (John), Julie McCratic, and Sandra Gage (Harold), all of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; her niece, Kyrie Middleton of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; five nephews, Colton Smith of Gentry, Arkansas, Tony Gage of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Jessy Gage of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Cody Michael of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Kevin Michael of Beebe, Arkansas; two aunts, Karen Glenn, and Debbie Hegar, both of Colcord, Oklahoma; several cousins.
A visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas with a committal service to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
