Carl Adams, 85, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday, September 29 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Trent Jaudon officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until service time. Interment will immediately follow the service in Sunrise Memorial Cemetery in Noxapater, Mississippi. Carl was born March 4, 1940, to Casey Claude and Cora Lee Raines Adams in Pontotoc, Mississippi. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was "piddling" around in his shop, working on his truck, or tinkering with anything mechanical he could get his hands on. He had a gift for fixing things and making sure something worked correctly. Carl also enjoyed tending to his garden as long as he was able. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Margaret Jennings Adams; and three daughters: Patty Boatner, Peggy Adams, and Lynn (Donnie) Graham all of Louisville. One of his greatest joys was being "Pop" to his two grandsons, Marty Adams and Clark (Abby) Graham; and his great-granddaughter, Keaton Graham. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his son, Martin Adams; his son-in-law, Doug Boatner; his parents; and two brothers, Buddy Adams and Robert Adams. Serving as pallbearers are Clark Graham, Donnie Graham, Jimmy Dale Adams, Jock Adams, Jerry Woodson, and Dell Estes.. Services are under the direction of Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
