Carl "Buddy" Boaz – Age 83 of Nashville, TN. June 21, 2025. Carl Boaz was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He was the youngest of seven children and was also a twin. Carl was a machinist and carpenter by trade. In later years, he was a handyman for many people. Carl was a very loving caregiver and dearly loved all of his family and friends. He was a faithful member of Wingate Church of Christ for many years, and then as of late was a faithful member at Radnor Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by wives, Carla Boaz and Gladys Miller Boaz; stepson, Marsh Kaniewski; sisters, Carolyn Henry and Margaret Gully; brother, Gilbert Boaz; grandson, Gilbert Allen Boaz, Jr.; and stepdaughter, Elissa Poole.
Survived by children, Alisa (Tim) Jones, Don (Teresa) Boaz, Gilbert (Raina) Boaz, Melanie Proctor, Nan (Eric) Timmons and Gary (Jessica) Miller; grandchildren, Wayne (Sheryl) Boaz, Rebecca Grimes, Audrey (Cameron) Smith, Ali (John) Reynolds, Bianca Williams, Abby (Grayson) Simmons, Adrienne (Chris) McGowan, Kimberly Boaz, Willis Boaz, Bryttany Boaz and Jeremy Boaz, Savanna Dunaway and Alyssa Dunaway and several other loving grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sara Sullivan and Daisy Reedy; and brother, Willis Boaz.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road by Don Boaz and Jim Boaz. Interment Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be family and friends; Honorary Pallbearers will be friends of Radnor Church of Christ. Visitation be on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, 615-331-1952.
