Carl E Boucher, 72, of Brunswick ME, passed away with his family by his side on September 4th 2025 at Midcoast Hospital. Carl was born on 11/03/1952 to Thomas and Patricia (Moody) Boucher. Carl was an incredibly hard worker. He held positions with the State of Maine as part of the road crew and worked at the Belgrade Middle School. He was currently working as a peer counselor at Preble Street. Carl enjoyed going to the movies, yard-saling, exploring the local Goodwills and knife collecting. Carl loved to help people in any way that he could; whether that be an ear to listen, rolling cigarettes to hand out or directing people to the resources available to help them. He wanted to help and serve his community.He enjoyed playing with his dog, Murphy, who he affectionately called Bozo. Carl is predeceased by his mother Patricia (Moody) Boucher, father Thomas Boucher, and his sister Mary Vinton. He is survived by his wife Linda Boucher of Brunswick, brother Howard Boucher of Chelsea, daughters Michelle Libby and husband Dave of Chelsea, Chrissy Pushard and husband Jamie of Pittson, Lisa Cloutier and husband Justin of Brunswick, and Sandy Cyr of Portland. Grandchildren Kyle Michaud, Robbie Michaud, Becky Cyr, Lachlan and Arabella MacMaster, and Camryn Cloutier along with 6 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at the West Bath Fire Station 192 State Rd, West Bath Maine on Wednesday September 24th 2025 from 12-3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to preblestreet.org 55 Portland St, Portland ME, 04101.
