Carl A. Braack, 83, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2025. Loving husband to Diane Braack for 61 blessed years. Beloved father to Judith Brennan. Adored grandfather to Gina Brennan. Dear brother to Evelyn (Tom) Bailey, and the late Margaret Ann Braack. Devoted son to Irvin H. Braack and Marie Braack (Freudenthal). Treasured uncle to Lori Ann Schreiber, Kathleen Sapienza, Donald Dal Moro, the late Debra Komrofske, and dear cousin to the Ivaska family.
Carl loved his black lab Beau. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Carl was a passionate carpenter and a graduate of Washburn Trade School. His career spanned over 50 years. He was a proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 181 and Local 58.
