Carl Richard Evans, a beloved son, friend, and member of the Casper community, passed away on February 2, 2025, at the Shepherd of the Valley in Casper, Wyoming. Born on September 21, 1972, in Casper, he was known for his warm spirit and engaging personality.

Carl's life was marked by his commitment to his personal growth and community service. He attended various educational institutions designed for special needs children, including the Child Development Center, Fort Casper, Woods, Dean Morgan, and Natrona County High School. His dedication to self-improvement paved the way for a fulfilling career with organizations such as NowCap and Independent Opportunities.

Throughout his life, Carl was actively involved in different activities and clubs. He had a passion for participation, enjoying everything from the Boy's Club to 4-H and Special Olympics. As an Honorary Member of the Patriot Guard Riders, he demonstrated his love for camaraderie and community support.

Those who knew Carl celebrated his sweet yet stubborn nature, describing him as interesting and always eager to engage in the happenings around town. He had a remarkable ability to remember details about events, taking great pleasure in listening to the radio and watching television both morning and night. Football games were a particular favorite, and he found joy in both attending and viewing them from home. His passion for life was evident in his numerous hobbies, which included collecting license plates, t-shirts, caps, and football jerseys, as well as taking photographs and decorating his walls with tokens of his adventures.

Carl was often described as shy yet outgoing, a unique blend that allowed him to touch the lives of many. Though he could be bull-headed at times, his kindness shone through, and he was known for never meeting a stranger. His generous spirit extended to his love of food, particularly trying new restaurants, and he made it a daily delight to enjoy a Pepsi, regarding it as his version of coffee.

He is survived by his loving mother, Rita Andrew, and stepfather, Arthur Andrew. He is also remembered fondly by his aunts, Phyllis Peterson (Jack) and Connie Stephens, as well as stepsisters Brenda Ayers (Kevin) and Kim Andrew. Carl held a special place in the hearts of his cousins, their children, and his nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his Uncle Larry Stephens and his grandparents Chester and Laura Stephens. Despite the loss, Carl's vibrant spirit and cherished memories will continue to resonate with all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of kindness, enthusiasm for life, and commitment to his community will be forever remembered.
