Buster Faile traded his earthly home for his Heavenly one on June 15, 2025. Born January 10, 1955, Buster lived a life full of joy, laughter, and love. He was welcomed into eternity by his parents, Woodrow and Lila Faile, and his precious granddaughter, Brittany Walker.
He leaves behind a big, beautiful family who will miss him every single day: his devoted wife of 30 years, Cathy; their children Jennifer Street (Mike), Stephanie Wallace (available), Jonathan Wright, and Stacey McWilliams (Michael); and their grandchildren Tony, Allison, Abby, Brandon, Taylor (Triston), Dylan, Codi Brooke, Kayli, and Rebecca. Buster also had three siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Buster spent his working years as an electrician-fixing things by day and lighting up every room he entered with that big smile of his. He retired from Superior and enjoyed every minute of his well-earned rest.
To know Buster was to have a friend. He never met a stranger and was always ready with a grin, a story, or a bit of advice. He'd gladly tell you about his two greatest loves: Jesus and Cathy-and not necessarily in that order!
He was known for his singing -one that could give Elvis a run for his money-and he wasn't shy about proving it. Whether it was karaoke in the living room or belting out gospel songs, Buster's music filled the air and lifted every heart.
Buster's favorite days were spent with his grandkids-fishing, playing chess, singing, and making memories. He'd tease them for "cheating" at Uno (especially when they beat him), remind them that "vaping is bad," "God is good," and that "if you don't quit doing those TikToks while driving, I'm gonna whoop you." His words-and his love-were endless.
Most of all, Buster loved the Lord. He was ready to meet Him, and he wanted to make sure his family would one day join him in Heaven.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 29th at 4:00 PM at:1523 Tom Williams Rd., Monroe, NC, 28112
