Carl Steven Fisher, age 61, passed away July 22, 2022. He was born February 4, 1961, to Carl and Sawahana (nee Lake) Fisher in Cleveland, Ohio.
Carl (Steve) was an amazing, hardworking, generous man. He was a beloved husband, cherished father and grandfather, and loyal friend to many. He was the owner of CFI Electrical for more than 30 years. He enjoyed snowmobiling, cars, and model trains. He also liked to golf and travel. He particularly enjoyed visiting Italy and Paris with his wife, Theresa. More than anything else, he loved spending time with his family, and they loved his jokes. They fondly remember him as a master of puns.
His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, but especially his devoted wife of 23 years, Theresa (nee Gaspar); his children, Danielle (Craig) Maas, Kaitlyn Fisher, Daniel (Kelly) Keltner, Gregory (Abbie) Clucas, and Charles (Kendall) Franke; grandchildren, Benjamin, Anderson, Alexis, Sofia, Ava, Emma, Jaime, Jaxon, Eden, and Charlotte; siblings, Joan (Lyn) Sinclair, Tina Fisher, and Chad Fisher; sisters-in-law, Maria (Geoff) Toney, Kristine (Jeff) Evancho, Rosie (Tim) Retza, Kathy (Michael) Zingalis; brothers-in-law, Louis (Alicia) Gaspar, James Gaspar, Joseph Zingalis, and Joseph Gaspar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Sawahana, and his brother-in-law, Charles Zingalis.
The family will welcome guests from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Grace Baptist Church, 3480 Laurel Road, Brunswick. He will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
