Carl Anthony “Tony” Ginder, 59, Born in Lancaster, departed peacefully, Saturday, January 3, 2025 at his residence of Mount Joy, PA. Tony is the loving husband of Enerys “Emma” (Rosado) Ginder. Tony is the beloved son of Ann (Ginder) Simonetti of Lancaster. Tony grew up in Chicago & is son to Lou Simonetti. Tony is a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Winchester, VA.
Surviving in addition to his wife Emma & mother Ann is a son Daniel husband of Marguerita Ginder, York; three daughters Ashley wife of Joe Cool, York, Tiffany wife of Jared Smith, Abbottstown, Danielle Hayden, Reston VA; 8 grandchildren; three brothers Daniel husband of Erika Simonetti, TX, Loren Simonetti, FL, Larry husband of Deana Simonetti, IL; and a sister Karen wife of Steve Goeltzer, AK.
Tony is best known for his zeal for cars that developed at an early age which transformed him into an automotive enthusiast. Whether he was building engines or leading the way as a general sales manager in the automotive industry; his 2nd love was cars. Tony’s career highlights were in Wells Fargo Auto Loan Dept, MD; Koons of Tysons Corner, VA, & Volvo of Dulles VA. Tony’s hobbies included his love for his dogs, Sci-Fi movies, considered himself a futurist thus becoming a Tesla Inc. follower. Tony’s 1st love & passion is reserved for his faith, family & friends which brought him back to Mount Joy.
Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend his Life Celebration Service at Manheim Brethren in Christ Church, 54 N. Penryn Road, Manheim on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 12:00 noon. There will be a time of visitation at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Risser Mennonite Cemetery.
