Paula Jill Ginder, age 62, of Panama City, Florida, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 16, 2026. Paula was born on November 21, 1963, in Muncie, Indiana, and later made her home in Panama City, Florida.
Paula was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She had a heart full of kindness and love, and she gave that love freely to everyone around her. She was the kind of person who made others feel cared for just by being near her.
Paula’s gentle spirit and nurturing nature showed in everything she did. She enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, sightseeing, and bird watching. Most of all, she loved playing with her grandchildren and spending time with the people she loved most. Paula was also a devoted daughter who lovingly cared for her mother, always putting family first.
Paula is survived by her mother, Phyllis Carnes; her daughter, Kelly Brooks Vanoy (Heath); her son, Johnny Ginder (Candace); and her beloved grandchildren, Everly Vanoy, Liam Ginder, and Lincoln Ginder.
She is also survived by her siblings, Chris Carnes, Todd Carnes, Jim Shaw, Kim Wilhite, and Angela Martin as well as several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Carnes.
A graveside service to honor Paula’s life will be held on February 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Cemetery in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Paula will be deeply missed, but her love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
