Carl Hamblin Obituary
Carl Brent Hamblin Sr., 67 of Wales, Utah passed away January 31, 2026 unexpectedly of a heart attack. Born March 6, 1958 to Charles Raymond “Ray” & Alice Augusta Ball Hamblin in Ogden, Utah. He married Kerri Lee Kirk September 10, 1982 in the Jordan River Temple. They have 9 children Karalynn (Jerry), Jake (Amy), Valerie (Steve), Rachael, Eulalia (Weston), Daniel, Hannah, Brent (Morgan) and Adam.
Carl was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was currently serving in the Manti Temple, his dream calling.
He is survived by his wife Kerri; his 8 children; 11 grandchildren, siblings Duane (Charlene), Larene High, Leroy, Merlin (Carla) Marlin (Renee); sisters-in-law, Maxine, Kristine and Susan. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Rachael, brothers Jay and Joe; brother-in-law Jim, sister Ina; sister-in-law Jean.
Carl’s family would like to thank EMS services and Sanpete County Dispatch for their prompt response and compassionate care during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wales Chapel (92 S 200 W). Viewings will be held Sunday February 8, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. prior to service both at the church. Interment in the Wales Town Cemetery.
