Carl was born August 9, 2000, in Leesburg; son of Dwayne Allen and Ericka Jeanne Harney nee Cecil. Carl loved to fish and usually had a fishing pole where ever he went, just in case there was a fishing hole nearby. He also enjoyed hiking, biking, snowboarding, bowling, and hunting. Carl was fearless when it came to sports of all kinds, competing and enjoying time with his brother and best friend, Austin. His favorite pastime was spending time with his long-time sweetheart and wife.
Carl married Hannah Paige Harney nee Redman, May 5, 2024 in Leesburg at Rust Manor.
Along with his wife he is survived by his parents, Dwayne and Ericka of Winchester, his brothers, Dwayne "DJ" Allen Harney, Jr. and Austin Michael Harney; his father and mother-in-law, Dan and Michelle Redman; his maternal grandmother, Mary Pat Farrell and Angus Robert Harney nee Redman "the cat".
Carl is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ron and Liz Harney and Hannah's grandparents, Mike and Charolette Gargetic.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
A celebration of life will be Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 5:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home.
In memory of Carl memorial contributions may be made to Winchester Area SPCA, 111 Featherbed Lane, Winchester, VA 22601.
