Carl Ray Harris, Jr. said:
What's up my babies, I didn't think I would go out like this, but we're here. I would like to start off by saying, Thank you all for coming and showing me and my family love and support. I want my mother to know, I loved her deeply, she was my everything, I will miss her. Mom, thank you being a supportive strong mom, raising me to be a gentleman, I was a man with manners, courage and dignity. My mom and my father were my backbone, no matter what.
I came into this world on December 26, 1990 to my mom, Diane Cox and dad, Carl Harris, Sr. I strolled into heaven, joining my father on August 29, 2024. As a child, I attended Houghton Elementary School and Central Middle School. I proceeded to earn my General Educational Diploma.
Thirty-three years man, I know I was ahead of my time, but boy, did I enjoy my life. I loved gambling, food, reading, music and traveling. My favorite place was Arizona, I also loved sports: bet y'all didn't know I use to play basketball and I was the coldest. I loved where I came from, my stomping ground, my hood. I really loved my family, Chester and Johnisha I will always be by y'all side. I didn't have any kids, but I have one special nephew, Julian Henderson Jr.; my baby, my twin, baby Andrew is what I called him. I am going to miss you nephew.
I leave to cherish many memories, my heart, my Mother, Diane Cox; my second Mother, Marilyn Favorite-Harris; my siblings, Chester Pearson, Johnisha Liddell, Tony, Roslyn, Carlos, Carlisha, Taronda, David, Kyomonique, Armand, Zhan'e and Joe (Bre); my Uncle Edward (Gladys) Cox; my cousins, Latoia, Edward, Jr., Candace, Dwight, Demetcha, Dewona, Dawn, Aeriell, Bryan and Deborah; my special cousins, Larry and Seeta; my friends, C-Rock, Jarneisha Ball, Jawanna, Trav, Bay Bra, Toot, Skeet, Big Mike and Stephaine C.
Thank you to my special mentors, Chester Pearson, Sr., John Liddell, Sr. and Shannon Harris.
As I walked into heaven meeting my father, I was also joined by my grandparents, Isabella (Bell), Edward (Baby Ray) Cox, Gertrude and Roosevelt Harris, Uncle Johnny Harris; aunts, Emma Lou Harris, and Roberta Harrison; my heavenly friends, Marquist, Torion, Jovan and Zebedee.
I hate I have to leave so hold me down, keep my name alive. I know I'll be missed and I don't like saying goodbye, so I'll see y'all later." – Watts 5000
