He is survived by his son, Carl W. Herring, Jr., and extended family members, Marc Fortus and Vanessa Rivera.
Cremation will be private.

Carl was a great man coming to the job my work always had good things to say we always talked to all the years I known him a gentleman one of our favorite customers, he will be missed from all the workers at spirits liquor store he was a great man and a gentleman I'll miss him personally, Rip my friend,now in the hand's of Jesus.!!!
