Carl Davis Lambert, 84, of Locust, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at his home.
Carl was born December 21, 1938, in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late John Filmore Lambert and the late Sara Rosetta Hinson Lambert.
He was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 3:00pm at Bethel Baptist Church in Locust officiated by Pastor Brian Bolding and Rev. Glenn Johnson. Burial will follow at the Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at 24671 Millingport Road., Locust.
Survivors include wife of 63 years, Johnnie Ann Cranford Lambert of the home; sons, David Lambert and wife, Lisa of Locust, NC and Aaron Lambert and wife, Mija of Michigan; daughters, Laura Efird and husband, Lamar of Locust, NC and Wendy Lowder and husband, James of Locust, NC; grandchildren, Kayla and Alex Efird, Nick, Ben, and Bekah Lambert, and Kylie Frick; great-grandchildren, Violet, Elliana, and Willow; and sister, Mary Brault and husband, Fred of Charlotte, NC.
He worked in maintenance for Concrete Supply for 32 years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie.
