Carl C. Rueter

Carl C. Rueter, Age 82, of Indiana Twp. passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s.  Beloved husband of Barbara Lynn Condie; father of Michael (Julie), and Lynne Rueter; proud grandfather of Matthew and Aaron; brother of Fred (Karen) Rueter and the late William Rueter. Also survived by many loving nephews and friends. Carl was the Administrator of the VA Housing and Loan Division of the Federal Government. He was on the Board of Action Housing for 12 years, serving as chairman for 3 years. He served on the Board for the Boys and Girls Club and the Board of Directors for the Shriners Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia. He belonged to Perry-Ionic Masonic Lodge #796. Carl was a 33rd Degree Mason, a member or Syria Shrine, and the Royal Order of Jesters Court #2. Carl loved his church and his first year 1990 Mazda Miata, but above all, his family meant the most to him. No visitation. A memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church at 615 Grant Street, Pgh., Pa. 15219 on Saturday June 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
