Carl J. Schott
Pinconning, Michigan
Carl James Schott, otherwise known to his family as "Quick Daddy", passed away peacefully at his home in Pinconning, Michigan, on November 5th, 2025.
Carl was born as the only child to Marie (Lebourdais) Schott and Earl Schott of Linwood, Michigan, where he grew up on his family's farm.
On November 8th, 1969, Carl married his one and only love of his life, Debra Priem. Together, they shared almost 56 years of marriage. She is left to cherish his memory.
Quick lived a life marked by his unwavering dedication to his family, especially his 4 granddaughters, never turning down a special request, or a trip to Family Dollar.
A few of Quick's favorite places to be was camping at Alcona Park. In his younger years it was weekend camps with his friends and family by Grim Hill in Bentley, where many good times and cherished memories were had by all. Quick enjoyed the simple things in life: hunting, fishing, cutting firewood, going trailriding, and just being outdoors.
During Carl's work journey, he discovered his talent for welding and spent the majority of his work career at American Hoist in Bay City Michigan where he welded booms for cranes.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife Debra Schott, his two sons Wally (Tracy)Schott, Tim (Andria) Schott, his four loved granddaughters Ashlyn Schott (Kahli Robinson), Makenzie Schott (Payton King), Lainie Schott, and Macie Schott, His sister- in- law Cindy (Randy) Wiesenauer, his brother in law Marty (Cathy) Priem, and many great friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Per Carl's wishes cremation has taken place and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
