Carl Edward Schwab Jr. passed away at home with his beloved wife at his side on January 6, 2025. Carl born in Chillicothe, MO to Carl E. Schwab Sr. and Pearl Martin Schwab.
Carl grew up a "farm boy" and attended Chillicothe High School. Carl started his management training with JC Penny Co. in his hometown of Chillicothe, MO on September 1, 1956, and had many positions with the JC Penny company. He went on to retire on September 1, 1996, after a 40-year career with JC Penny. After retirement Carl and Patricia moved to Edmond, OK.
On September 16, 1956, Carl married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Mast. Carl and Patricia had a wonderfully blessed marriage. Carl and Patricia had two children; son Clinton Schwab and wife Dorothy; daughter Renee Raffensperger; four grandchildren Kyle Schwab and wife Hannah, Cole Schwab, Devin Raffensperger and Shay Raffensperger; two great-grandchildren Finley and Elliott Schwab.
Carl accepted Jesus Christ as his savior when he was 12 years old. He was an active member and Deacon at The First Baptist Church, Edmond, OK.
