Carl Sebastian

Carl Sebastian, 80, of Austin entered his eternal home on Sunday, February 25, 2024. He was born April 16,1943 to Wick and Jenny (Turner) Sebastian of Breathit County, KY. After high school he attended Eastern Kentucky University and received his degree in Education. He went on to teach for the school system in Alexandria, Ohio. In the early 70's he left education and moved his family to Austin to start his career with Cummins in Walesboro. He retired from Cummins in 2009. In 1966 he married Margie Ruth White, and they spent 57 years devoted to each other.
He is survived by his wife, Margie, his sons Greg and his wife Misse of Austin IN, Nick of Frankfort KY, granddaughters Madison of New Albany IN, Alisha and her husband Daniel of Seymour IN, and great grandchildren Madeline, Brighten, Landon and Davian of Seymour IN. His brother CE and his wife Trudy of Alexandria OH, and his sister Martha and her husband Jimmy of Georgetown KY. He is proceeded in death by his parents and sister, Kathleen of St Louis MO
Funeral Service: 6:00pm Thursday, 2/29/2024 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Kevin Lewis officiating.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 pm Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Hannah Sebastian Cemetery in Sebastian Branch, Kentucky.
