Raymond T. Justice, PhD, DPM, a respected and accomplished professional in the field of podiatry, passed away at the age of 83 on September 16, 2025, at Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg, Indiana. Born on January 10, 1942, in Henry County, Virginia, he was the beloved son of the late Murray R. Justice and Amer (Clifton) Justice.

Doc, as everyone called him, was a very dedicated person, he loved with his heart and felt alot of compassion towards people. We will miss him in this world but hope to be reunited with him in the next. To all who knew him, he was a good doctor, person, father, and mate.

A proud graduate of Drewy Mason High School in Ridgeway, Virginia, Raymond's thirst for knowledge led him to Northwestern University. His academic journey continued at the University of Louisville, where he earned his PhD. Furthering his specialization, he attended the New York School of Podiatry, which equipped him with the expertise to make a significant impact in the medical community.

Doc was well-known for his private practice, Raymond T. Justice Ankle and Foot, located in Jeffersonville. His commitment to his patients and his profession was evident in the care he provided and the countless individuals he helped throughout his career.

Raymond's memory will be cherished by his loving companion, Karen Raichel, her children Whitnei (Dalton) Ward (Underwood); Willie Raichel (Austin); and her grandchildren Wyatt and Dallas, his son, Christopher Justice of Georgia; and his granddaughter, Emily Justice. He is also survived by his brother, Larry (Pamela) Justice; his sisters, Cornelia (Sam) Humphrey, Sandra (Larry) Davis, and Laura Olson; as well as several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember their uncle's wisdom and kindness.

Preceded in death by his sister, Ella King,

In accordance with Raymond's wishes, cremation was chosen. While no services are to be held, his life will be commemorated in the hearts of his family and friends.
