Charles David Huckleberry, 68, of Austin, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2025, at Norton Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Born on February 27, 1957, in Campbellsburg, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Vada Baker and Charles A. and Christine Huckleberry.

Survivors include his cherished daughter, Krystal (Greg) Bowman of Austin, Indiana, his two grandchildren, Courtney and Clayton, siblings, Star Huckleberry of Bloomington, Indiana; John H.S. Bowling of Austin, Indiana, Darlene (Dennis) Motsinger of Seymour, Indiana; Angela (Edward) Montgomery of Austin, Indiana; Debbie (Rick) Kilburn of Scottsburg, Indiana; Selena (Mike) Thompson of Scottsburg, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lora Huckleberry, and two sisters, Selene Epeards and Michelle Gambill.

A proud and dedicated worker, He retired from Arvins Meritor in Columbus, Indiana,

A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Charles David Huckleberry will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, September 12, 2025 at New Providence Cemetery in Austin, Indiana. The service will be a time for family, friends, and loved ones to gather in remembrance of a man who touched the lives of many with his generosity, spirit, and unwavering kindness.
