Kimberly S. Huckleberry, born October 24, 1959, formerly of Cincinnatti, Ohio now of Frankfort, Ky entered her eternal rest August 18, 2025. She was a graduate of Princeton High School and received her bachelor's degree from Central State University in 1981. Kimberly was a dedicated woman of great faith and grit -- she loved Jesus but cussed a little. She was a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the United States Air Force.

Kimberly had a God-given ability to speak knowledge, care, and wisdom often expressed through spirited and playful banter. Every morning, she shared scripture and encouragement to those she loved. Sarcasm and a fiery, sharp wit were her love languages, shared regularly with family, friends and neighbors.

Her professional career was devoted primarily to serving as a Minister, but Kimberly's most cherished role was that of Mother to her only son, Kristopher D.Rush. Their love and devotion to each other transcended a fiercely loyal best friendship, an unwavering bond and a shared love of the Cincinnatti Bengals.

Kimberly is leaving behind a legacy of great strength, love, and warmth that touched all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings; survived by her son, Kristopher D. Rush and fiancé, Nicole R. Jacob; Sisters Joanie O'Neal, Terry O'Neal; Brother Eric Williams and a large crew of nieces and nephews, all held close to her heart.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kimberly's life at a visitation on Saturday, August 23rd from 11:00am-1:00pm, with a service beginning at 1:00pm. Both will be held at Kerr Brother's Funeral Home (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, Ky 40513).

She will forever and always live in our hearts.
