Born on February 18, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gary lived a life marked by dedication to his country, deep love for his family, and a spirit that brought warmth and laughter to those around him. A proud graduate of Col-High in 1964, Gary went on to further his education at Oklahoma State University, Northern Oklahoma Junior College and Central State College. His commitment to service led him to join the United States Army and later the U.S. Army Reserves, where he served with honor. Gary was known for his kind heart and quick wit. His sense of humor could light up any room, and his unwavering devotion to his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He is survived by his daughters Heather (Tim) Sanders and Holly (Justin) Lewis; his grandchildren, Hunter (Bri) Sanders, Taryn (Dalton) Ford, Kaylee (Trent) Lewis, and Braden Lewis; and great-grandchildren Colt and Presley Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents, RT and Edyth Jackson, as well as his brother Russell Jackson. Gary's legacy lives on through the love he shared with those closest to him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. Private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Journey Home.
