Richard A. Gillman Jr., devoted husband and father, passed away at his home in Delaware, Oklahoma on Tuesday September 16, 2025. Richard was born on March 8, 1947 in Lenapah, Oklahoma to Richard A. Gillman Sr. and Ruby Earnestine (Talley) Gillman. Richard graduated From Lenapah High School in 1965. On June 11, 1971 he married the love of his life, Nora "Jane" Early. Their entire married life was Spent in the Lenapah and Delaware area. He served his country in the Army from 1965 to 1967. He worked over 34 years for "TRW Reda Pump in Bartlesville until retiring in 2007. Richard was a talented craftsman and woodworker. His passion and devotion to the craft is showcased at Oklahoma Union School in the numerous cabinets, trophy and mascot displays. He was always proud to donate his handmade woodcraft to the FFA benefit auctions. Many families in the area have lots of his hand crafted toys and furniture. If you could dream it, he could build it. He enjoyed his hunting trips to the mountains and spending time with his Family. His life lessons run deep, especially with his daughters and nephew, Eddie Debo. The Family includes his wife Jane Gillman of the home, daughters Christa Hamby and husband Jeff of Parsons, KS., Becky Johnson and husband Bobby of Nowata, OK, grandsons Kyle Johnson and wife Margo of Nowata and Patrick Brown of Tulsa, great grandsons Weston and Wesley Johnson and numerous other family. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister. Private services will be held at a later date.
