Carl Lynn Smith, 66, born on October 19, 1958, in Eupora, Webster County, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the New Albany Health and Rehabilitation Center in New Albany, Mississippi.
Carl was the beloved son of the late George Smith and Era Mae Hilliard. He is survived by his son, Brandan Smith, who carries forward Carl's legacy with pride and love. He also leaves behind his cherished brothers, Elvis Berryhill, and Otis (Mary) Berryhill, as well as his devoted sisters, Nolean Smith, Ianthia Ricks, Lee Drella (Elihu) Johnson-Bey, Dinell Edge, and Essteen Smith. Together, the family will remember his kindness, humor, and the many adventures they shared.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, Mississippi. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 12:00 PM at the same location, allowing family and friends to honor Carl's memory and share cherished stories.
Carl Lynn Smith will be remembered for his warmth and the profound impact he had on those around him. His memory will continue to resonate in the hearts of his surviving family members and friends.
