Kattie Ruth Boles,56, born on January 8, 1969, in Pontotoc, Pontotoc County, Mississippi, left this world on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. She was a beloved member of her family and a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant at New Albany Health & Rehabilitation Center, where her compassion and care touched the lives of many.
Kattie was the cherished daughter of Dusy Florere Howell-Baker. She was a proud mother to her three children, Travis Howell, Dustin Howell (Sons); and Tyanna Boles (Daughter), who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Lewis Shea Baker, and her sisters, Barbara R. Baker and Sheena Larhea Baker. Each of these relationships was profoundly important to her, and she nurtured them with love and dedication.
Her commitment to her family and her work was evident in all that she did. Kattie’s warm spirit and genuine kindness will be remembered by everyone who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life service beginning at 2:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Ecru, Mississippi. Throughout her life, Kattie brought joy and strength to those around her, and her legacy will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends.
