Michael Undray Ball, 46, passed away on October 24, 202, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo,. Born on October 3, 1978, in New Albany, Union County, MS, Michael was a beloved brother, son, and uncle who touched the lives of many throughout his journey.
Michael, who was characterized by his warm spirit and infectious smile, is survived by his 3 loving sisters: Stephanie Holesome, Kimberly Ball, and Latisha (William) Kimble. His family also includes his cherished god-mother, Daisy Dixon, and a circle of 9 aunts who held a special place in his heart—Dorothy McKnight, Barbara McKnight, Judith McKnight, Janice R. McKnight, Earnestine Hudson, Callie Ball, Rose Mary Thompson, Maedora Ball, and Emma Ball; and many loving friends and other family meembers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Junior Ball, and his mother, Diane McKnight, as well as his brother, Carlos Ball. The legacy of love and kindness that Michael leaves behind will be remembered fondly by those who were fortunate to know him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Ecru, Mississippi. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, beginning at 3:00 PM at Second Baptist Church, also located in Ecru.
Michael's life is a testament to the enduring impact one individual can make on the hearts of many. He will be deeply missed, but his vibrant spirit will continue to shine through the memories shared by family and friends.
