Robert Lee Keys, 76, born on August 18, 1948, in New Albany, Union County, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2025, in New Albany, MS. He was a cherished father, dedicated to his family and deeply respected within his community.
Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force, a commitment that shaped his character and instilled in him a sense of discipline and duty. Following his military service, he pursued a career as an electrician and contractor, where he demonstrated his remarkable skills and work ethic. His craftsmanship was admired by many, and he took great pride in the projects he undertook.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Robert was an enthusiastic dancer who loved listening to music. His passion for the arts allowed him to connect with others and create lasting memories through joyful celebrations and gatherings.
He is survived by his loving sons, Andrew Keys and William Keys, and his beloved daughter, Rosie Ball. Robert's spirit also lives on through the memories shared with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Romie Lula Keys, whose influence remained a guiding light in his life.
The viewing will follow on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on the same day, February 1, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM, also at Belle Memorial Funeral Home - Ecru.
