Carl E. Taylor, Jr. was born on September 18, 1940 to Carl E Taylor and Doris Taylor of Adel, Georgia. He lived his young life in Adel playing football for the Cook County Hornets football team. After school He joined the US Navy and traveled the world for 17 years. He later got into HVAC business for several years and then drove a big rig for many years traveling the country before retirement. He was a very happy and generous person. He had a kind and loving heart and he never met a stranger. He loved the Lord and attended Elevation Church in Scottsburg.

He is proceeded in death by his first wife, Beverly Taylor and a son Billy Gene Taylor he's also proceeded in death by his last wife Mildred Reece Taylor. Their Love for each other was right out of the love story. He was also proceeded in death by his sister, Judy Taylor of Adel Georgia.

Survivors that will always love and miss him his son Carl Taylor III (Juanita.) his sisters, Sue Burgess (Jim) Dublin, Georgia Peggy Barfielfd,(Bill) of Ray City, Georgia, Mary Jo Avera of Ray City, Georgia, Cheryl Ann Hopson (William) of Adel, Georgia and a brother Philip Taylor of Ray City, Georgia, stepdaughter, Melanie Reece Smith(John) of Scottsburg, Indiana and many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. He is also survived by his grandson, Devlin (Lexie) of Salem and several great grandchildren. And three fur babies.

His Celebration of Life will be held at Elevation Church in Scottsburg on Saturday March 21 from 11 to 1.
