Carl Terwilliger Obituary

Carl worked for General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed being outdoors, deer hunting, raising exotic cage birds and bowling. His greatest joy was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Carl will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his jokester personality, and the smiles he brought to all those who knew him.
Carl is survived by his wife of 67 years Mary Lou Terwilliger; children Douglas (Dawn) Terwilliger, Richard "Dick" Terwilliger, Denise (Brian) Nugteren, Dawn (Donald) DiFiori, Danielle (Buck Trice) Davis; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Deborah Lucier; his parents; and siblings Helen DeLoach, Mary Clark, Fred "Joe," Lyle, James, Jerry, Dick, Dennis, William Terwilliger.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 1 pm at Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Alma. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 am until the time of services at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Gratiot County Animal Shelter.
