Carl Henry Van Wagner, age 45, of Jackson, MI, passed away on June 28, 2025 in Beaver Creek Twp, MI.
He was born on February 21,1980 to Michael C. Van Wagner and Delma N. (Shimmell) Kallman in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Carl loved to hunt, ice fish, and to ride in his side by side with his kiddos and dog "Rocky."
He also enjoyed cooking and taste testing new recipes. He took time trying to perfect the art of making sourdough bread. He worked many years in the food and beverage industry as an executive chef with Aramark, Americrown, and Levy, facilitating food for 1,000 people at hockey and baseball games and NASCAR races.
Carl is survived by his wife, Brittny Van Wagner; daughters, Cassidy and Caitlynn Van Wagner; sister Jennifer Van Wagner; and parents, Michael Van Wagner and Delma (Richard) Kallman.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Carl and Carolyn Van Wagner and Henry and Irene Shimmell.
Arrangements are entrusted to Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
