Carl Wright Obituary
Carl Eugene Wright, age 65 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville, Kentucky.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 29, 1958 the son of Carl Dean and Alice (Betts) Wright. Carl had worked on a dairy farm and was a member of the City of Refuge Church.
Survivors include his parents, Carl Dean and Alice Wright of Whitley City, Kentucky; daughters, Kelly Marie Wright of Whitley City, Kentucky and Tammy Yevonne Wright Stevens and husband, Anthony of Somerset, Kentucky; brother, David Wright of Rising Sun, Indiana; sister, Lori Foster of Whitley City, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Jayquan Bailey, Gabriel Lay-Wright, Ryleigh Williams, and Kaiyah Wright.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday, January 5, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitley City Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Friday at the Funeral Home.
