Barbara Ann Rose, age 74 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Monday, December 15, 2025 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
She was born in Sawyer, Kentucky on September 25, 1951 the daughter of the late Euel C. and Joyce Thenal (Thomas) Rose. Barbara was a homemaker, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching NCIS, and had a green thumb for growing.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, William Rose and Earl Rose; and sisters, Vicie Powers, Jean Stigall, Dessel Lanter, and Pearl Goodin.
Survivors include her son, James Martin of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; brothers, Lester Rose and Levi Rose both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sister, Marcella Barnes of Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rose Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Saturday at the Funeral Home.
