Carl Wyman Obituary
It is with deepest sorrow, that we announce the passing of Carl Michael Wyman. Born in 1957. Michael left us at the age of 67 years old on November 9, 2025.
A man who was known for a “heart of gold”, who touched many lives with his kindness, generosity, humor, and deep devotion to his family and friends. Michael enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, cooking, hanging with his dachshunds and spending quality time with family and friends.
His dreams of owning a restaurant and a classic 1970 Nova eventually came true for him. But becoming a proud grandpa to his grandson, Liam, was everything. Michael loved that little boy “to the moon and back”!
He leaves behind his loving wife Carol, of 37 years of marriage; wonderful son, Matt; amazing daughter-in-law, Ashley; and beautiful grandson, Liam. He is also survived by four siblings: Dan (Nancy) Wyman; Patty (Kirk) Dewey; Stacey (Daphne) Wyman; and Jody (Scott) Dolfman, along with many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Darlene Wyman; and his brother, Mark.
Michael will be greatly missed and remembered forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 3pm to 5pm at Wyman’s Café, 8675 Portage Road, Portage, MI. We invite all who knew and loved Michael to join us in honoring his memory.
