Carla June Nohrenberg died on March 7, 2025, at the Israel Hospice House in Ames, Iowa, due to a long illness. The family will hold a Celebration of Life from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the 2025, at the Court Community Room at the Regency Court Apartment Complex where she lived. Pastor Katherne from the Hospice House to Officiate. All are welcome. She had requested no dark clothes; she only wants bright colors.
Carla was born on October 6, 1947, in Leon, Iowa, daughter of Dorothy (Richardson) Davis and Carl Davis. She attended school in Webster City, Iowa. She then attended Ellsworth Community College and received a one-year certificate of Swine Management. She then went to the University of Northern Iowa in Waterloo and received a certificate of Business.
She was a member of the Eastern Star in Iowa Falls, Iowa.
She had many jobs throughout her life, but her favorite was when she was living in Arizona at the state prison as a guard.
She has two brothers surviving, Ronnie (Nancy) Davis and Jerry (Marcia) Davis.
She had three children, Dennis Stotts (Debbie), Danny Stotts, and Travis Nohrenberg (Jenna), four Grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Nohrenberg, father Carl Davis and mother Dorothy (Richardson) Davis, her grandparents, daughter Dawn Marie, son Dennis Stotts Jr., and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
